The architecture project is the process in which a building manifests itself from idea to built reality.

The physical building is inseparable from the thought process behind its conceptualization, the construction process and the experiences people have in and around it during those various phases.

A building should be an enabler of experiences and interactions;

Interactions take place in empty space and are transient; architecture is a framework for them. Simply put, architecture is about the organization of voids and how they relate to one another and to the surrounding environment. Material and form serve to outline and accentuate what is and isn’t there. Ultimately, a building should act as a vessel through which the experience of a place or activity is heightened.

I like it when projects that are born of their context.

Context is natural, urban, and historical. Each project is a response to a unique set of circumstances, which together are it’s context; the stories of that context are quintessential understanding my work, and I will attempt to convey those here.
